Murals and Public Art
Public art plays a role in beautifying the community, engaging residents, creating pathways to economic growth and strengthening tourism.
Art in public spaces serves as a mirror reflecting a community’s cultural heritage and diversity.
The Municipality of Kincardine’s public art collection reflects our natural landscapes, commercial successes, local legends, our heritage and changing demographics, as expressed through murals, carvings and decorated infrastructure.
Explore creativity on the Municipality of Kincardine’s guided art walk.
Heritage Walking and Driving Tours
Printed copies of the walking and driving tours are available at the Welcome Centre at 707 Queen Street during the summer season, and at the Municipal Administration Centre at 1475 Concession 5 year-round. The digital versions of the tours are currently being upgraded and are temporarily unavailable.
