Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers share their time, skills, and creativity - every contribution they make matters.

By connecting with the community, volunteers find a sense of belonging and help co-create the neighbourhoods, culture, and society we want to live in.

The Municipality of Kincardine provides quality services that address the needs of our citizens, provide long-term sustainability, and improve the well-being of the community. We need volunteers to join us as in a variety of ways, so check out the details below!

Why is there a Volunteer Management Policy?

At their June 12, 2023 Meeting, Council supported and approved of the Volunteer Management Policy.

The need to have a formalized volunteering process stems from certain requirements becoming more stringent, including but not limited to health and safety, liability, and insurance requirements. The adoption of the Policy ensures that the Municipality of Kincardine is compliant in the different aspects.

The Municipality of Kincardine values our volunteers and are thankful for their support throughout the municipality on various tasks.

Should you require further information related to volunteer opportunities or management within the Municipality, please contact the Office of the CAO.
