  • Statement from Mayor Craig: The Passing of Vernon Roote

    On behalf of Council and the Municipality of Kincardine, I would like to extend our condolences to friends and family of Vernon Roote.   

    Vernon Roote was the former Chippewas of Saugeen First Nation Chief and died August 4th, 2023, at the age of 74. 

  • Road Closure - August 6, 2023 - Summer Street Party

    On Sunday, August 6th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Queen Street will be closed between Broadway Street and Durham Street for the Lakeside Downtown Kincardine BIA Summer Street Party.

    There are road closures scheduled for Saturday, August 5th, 2023 for Piping in the Park. These closures will be in effect from 7:45 - 9 p.m.

  • Road Closure: Bruce Avenue - August 21 to 25, 2023

    Bruce Avenue is closed from Highway 21 to Wieck Boulevard from August 21st to August 25th, 2023.
    It will be fully closed and impassible to all vehicles during this time as road maintenance is completed.

  • Update to the Water and Wastewater Master Plan

    Kincardine On: The current Water and Wastewater Master Plan Master Plan was adopted by Council in 2018 and since that time there has been residential and non-residential growth, additional development proposals and new and upgraded infrastructure within the systems.
