Community Investment Grant
The Community Investment Grant (CIG) provides financial assistance to local non-profit organizations for projects and events that will have a positive impact on the quality of life in the community.
The funding supports, promotes, informs, celebrates, preserves and/or provides access to:
- Arts, Culture, Heritage
- Sports, Recreation
- Social, Health, Environment
- Tourism
Applying for a Community Investment Grant
Organizations can apply if they:
- are a local non-profit community group
- are based within the Municipality of Kincardine, or provide services to residents
- demonstrate financial or volunteer support for the project
- have submitted any outstanding accountability statements from previous Community Investment Grants
Use of Grant Funds
Organizations may only spend grant funds on the project described within the original application - funds cannot be transferred to another project. An Accountability Statement must be submitted within 60 days of the project being completed or the funds being used, whichever comes first. Please submit either in person to the Municipal Administration Centre, 1475 Concession 5, Kincardine or by e-mail.

Applications are now being accepted for the Community Investment Grant.
Applications will be accepted until 4 p.m. on December 6, 2024.
Organizations can apply once per year. Applications must be complete and submitted by the due date and must include:
- a signed application
- project budget
Applications will not be accepted if Accountability Statements from 2024 have not been received.
Council will review the applications and organizations will typically be notified of their decision in the spring.
