Celebrating 50 years of recreation in the Davidson Centre

The Davidson Centre has a long history as the recreational anchor for the Municipality of Kincardine.

Construction began on the facility, previously known as the Kincardine & District Community Centre, in 1975. The official opening was set for September of 1975, but following some delays the first event was held in November of 1975, with grand opening festivities in July of 1976.

This building is a true community centre, with countless events and people gathering since the first public use of the facility in November of 1975.
