Celebrate Earth Week by getting involved in local environmental initiatives organized by Community Services staff and several community partners. Help make a difference by participating in one or more of these fun activities:
Clean when you can!
Join Community Services staff and the Kincardine Environmental Action Network (KEAN) for Spring Clean Week on your own time. Starting April 14th, clean-up kits including garbage bags, gloves, safety guidelines, and a list of designated drop-off locations will be available at the Davidson Centre, Bar Down, and the outdoor bins at Trillium Court.
Station Beach Clean-Up
April 21, 2025 from 1 - 3 p.m.
Join Community Services staff, Bar Down & KEAN for a clean-up at Station Beach. Refreshments will be provided by Tim Hortons & No Frills.
Inverhuron Beach Clean-Up
April 21, 2025 from 1 - 3 p.m.
Join the Tiverton Lions Club for a clean-up at Inverhuron Beach at the bottom of County Road 15.
Victoria Park Clean-Up
April 22, 2025 from 9 - 11 a.m.
Join the woman's trail walking group and Canadian Federation of University Women for a clean-up at Victoria Park. Meet across from Pet Value.
Tiny Tot Park Clean-Up
April 22, 2025 from 5:30 - 7 p.m.
Join the Kincardine Lions Club for a clean-up at Tiny Tots Park and Boardwalk
Connaught Park Clean-Up
April 23, 2025 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Join the Kincardine Agricultural Society and Country Depot for a clean-up of Connaught Park.
Bruce Avenue Clean-Up
April 24, 2025 from 1 - 3 p.m.
Join Community Living and the Forest School for a clean-up of the Bruce Avenue Soccer Fields, Dog Park, and surrounding green spaces.
Trillium Court/Alps Park Clean-Up
April 24, 2025 from 4:30 - 6 p.m.
Join KEAN members and the Huron Bruce Nature group for a clean-up at Trillium Court and Alps Park.
Davidson Centre Clean-Up
April 25, 2025 from 2 - 3 p.m.
Join the Community Services Department for a clean-up of the soccer field, track, splash pad, and green spaces at the Davidson Centre.
City Nature Challenge
April 25 until April 28, 2025
The City Nature Challenge is a friendly annual international challenge to see which city can record and the most observations if wildlife. everyone is encourages to find and photograph plants and animals in backyards, parks, schoolyards, and anywhere nature is found within the Municipality of Kincardine. Upload your wildlife photos using the free iNaturalist App. If you need some inspiration join Huron Bruce Nature on one of their guided hikes.

Visit the Lakeside Living Home & Garden Expo at the Davidson Centre and stop by the Kincardine Agricultural Society booth for a composting demonstration.
Boiler Beach Food Forest Planting
April 27, 2025 at 10 a.m.
Join the Saugeen Habitat Collective for the planting of food forest. Lunch provided.
