Highlights from the meeting include:
Station Beach Boardwalk Design Report
Council approved the design of the Boardwalk at Station Beach. GMBlueplan will proceed with developing tender documents for construction. The 2025 budget will include a proposal for construction of the boardwalk.

Awarding Dredging Kincardine Marina Tender Report
Council approved awarding the contract to dredge the Kincardine Marina to Huron District Contracting Limited in the amount of $281,733.44.
Physician Recruitment Requests for Out of Province Travel
Council approved the travel required for Municipality of Kincardine staff to participate in two US physician recruitment expos and one out of province conference in 2024.
Sign By-law Exemption – 754 Queen Street Kincardine
Council approved an exemption for the placement of “The Bruce” backlit signage.
OPP Detachment Board Update Report
Council approved the Terms of Reference for the South Bruce OPP Detachment Board Community Appointee Advisory Committee; and Councillor Cavanagh was appointed to the Committee. Staff will jointly advertise for two (2) Community Appointees to the Board, and transfer the 2024 Operating Budget as of March 31, 2024.
OPP Provincial Police Contract – Enhancement Position Report
Council approved entering into a new agreement with the Provincial Government to support an OPP enhancement for a School Resource Officer, which will be presented at the March 27th Meeting.
Closed Session
There was a Closed Session held pursuant to Section 239 (2) of the Municipal Act, 2001 and Staff received direction in closed session regarding the Bluewater Trailer Park and the Bruce C Impact Assessment.
