Downtown Dig finishing work starting after Labour Day

Following Labour Day, crews will begin the finishing working for the Downtown Dig on Queen Street in Lakeside Downtown Kincardine.

There will be delays during this time with blocked lanes, some parking spots blocked off, and crew members directing traffic.

This will be so crews can:

• mill and remove asphalt ramping placed next to the subs downtow
• raise manholes to the same height as the finished surface asphalt
• lay the final paving surface

This work is expected to be completed within the month of September and is dependent on weather.
