Facility Closures and Program Cancellations - January 27, 2025 - 11:30 a.m. Update

Due to ongoing and forecasted weather conditions today, Monday, January 27th, 2025, a Significant Weather Event has been declared, the Municipality of Kincardine is under both snow squall and wind warnings, and there are there are the following closures, updates, and cancellations as of 11:30 a.m.:
 
⛔ The Tiverton Sports Centre will be closed today.
⛔ The pool at the Davidson Centre will be closing at 1 p.m. for the remainder of the day.
⛔ The Municipal Administration Centre is closed
⛔ The Underwood Community Centre is closed.

❗ Programming Cancellations at the Davidson Centre include:
• Swimming lessons for the evening
• 1 p.m. Leisure Swim
• 7 p.m. Aquafit
• 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Lane Swims

🟢 The Davidson Centre currently remains open for drop-in activities, rentals, and health club use.

⛔ The Ontario Provincial Police are reporting that Highway 21 from Amberley to Port Elgin is closed.
⛔ Sideroad 5S from Southline to Huron-Kincardine West Boundary due to heavy drifting.
⛔ Saugeen Street from Kingsway to Broadway Street has been closed due to heavy drifting and poor visibility.
