Facility Closures and Program Cancellations - January 29, 2025 - 7 a.m. Update

Good morning, everyone. It's Wednesday, January 29th, 2025 at 7 a.m. and we're under a snow squall warning as well as remaining under a significant weather event. 

With the ongoing and forecasted weather conditions along with current road closures, there are some facility closures and program changes:
 
🟢 The Davidson Centre is open
⛔ The pool at the Davidson Centre is closed with the 6:15 a.m. lane swim cancelled
⛔ The Tiverton Sports Centre is closed
⛔ The Underwood Community Centre is closed
⛔ The Municipal Administration Centre is closed
⛔ 9 a.m. Pilates is cancelled
⛔ 10 a.m. Cardio Dance is cancelled
⛔ 11 a.m. Pilates is cancelled

⛔ The Ontario Provincial Police - West Region are reporting that Highway 21 from Amberley to Port Elgin is closed.
⛔ Bruce County road closures are available on https://www.brucecounty.on.ca/road-conditions

Operations crews are reporting heavy drifting on roads with fair to poor visibility at times. If you choose to travel, please do so with caution. Postponing any non-essential travel is recommended.
