Facility Closures and Program Cancellations - January 30, 2025 - 7 a.m. Update

Good morning, everyone. It's Thursday, January 30th, 2025 at 7 a.m. We remain under a significant weather event. While the weather is finally improving, there are still road closures as crews continue to clean up after days of heavy snow and drifting. Here are your facility closure and program cancellation updates:
 
🟢 The Davidson Centre is open.
⛔ The pool at the Davidson Centre remains closed.
⛔ 9 a.m. Strength and Conditioning Class at the Davidson Centre is cancelled.
⛔ 9:30 a.m. Aquafit is cancelled.
⛔ 11:30 a.m. Lane Swim is cancelled.
⛔ 1 p.m. Adult Leisure Swim is cancelled.
⛔ The Municipal Administration Centre is closed.
⛔ The Tiverton Sports Centre is closed.
⛔ The Underwood Community Centre is closed.

We continue to monitor weather conditions as well as road closures and will provide updates as they become available.

⛔ The Ontario Provincial Police - West Region are reporting that Highway 21 from Amberley to Port Elgin is closed.
⛔ Bruce County is reporting some road closures. They are available on https://www.brucecounty.on.ca/road-conditions

Operations crews were up and at it early this morning and continue plowing, blowing, and hauling snow to push back banks and improve conditions on municipal roads.
