KINCARDINE, ON –  The Municipality of Kincardine extends congratulations to the Kincardine Fall Fair as they celebrate their 173rd year this long weekend.

The Kincardine Agricultural Society’s Fall Fair Ambassador Program will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31st. Nominations are currently open for the roles of Junior Ambassador (ages 11 to 14) and the Kincardine Fall Fair Ambassador (ages 17 -25). The fantastic events planned for Fall Fair Day offer something for the whole family, including:

•    Dairy shows
•    Homecraft exhibits
•    Kids’ Zone
•    Food vendors
•    Live entertainment
•    Petting zoo
•    Axe throwing

The Kincardine Welcomes Tourism Team is also participating in the fun from 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and are excited to be a part of the festivities.

Our partnership with the Municipality is essential to the continued success of such an important agricultural family event in Kincardine,” said Lindsay Dykeman, Kincardine Agricultural Society director.

This year’s event also features the organization’s commitment to continuing to educate and grow using current trends and technologies. The recent addition of an online system, ASSIST EXPO, allows participants to login, view the annual fair book, make their entries, and print tags for showcase entries. 

The new system removes the need for hours of paperwork and makes the awarding prize money much quicker. Printed copies are available upon request.
