Celebrating the Season at the Mayor's Levée
KINCARDINE, ON – December is a celebratory month around the world, honouring different cultural holidays and traditions. Adding to the festivities is the upcoming Mayor’s Levée, giving everyone a chance to gather for family-friendly fun and fellowship at Kincardine’s Davidson Centre.
“The holiday season is about good cheer and togetherness,” said Mayor Craig. “It’s a time to remember that we’re better together, and that’s what this afternoon celebration is all about.”
From 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 31st, families are invited to join Mayor Craig to celebrate the last day of 2023 and welcome 2024 with the Municipality of Kincardine sponsoring activities including:
- Public Swimming
- Public Skating
- Drop-in Gym
- Crafts
The Municipality of Kincardine also have a holiday recreation schedule available for those interested in activities available throughout the holiday break along with the opportunity for kids to participate in Winter Break Camp from January 2nd to the 5th. Details for both are available online at www.kincardine.ca/Holidays2023 along with information about closures and service interruptions for the holiday season.
