Nominations open for the 2024 Afro Caribbean Youth Awards
KINCARDINE, ON – The Municipality of Kincardine is collaborating with community partners to host the second Afro Caribbean Youth Awards.
The awards celebrate Afro Caribbean youth living in Grey and Bruce Counties who demonstrate the following characteristics:
- Creativity
- Leadership
- Cultural Dignity
- Academic Merit
- Community Involvement
- Advocacy for Social Justice
- Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
- Inspires and empower others
- Music/Art/Drama/Dance
- Champion of change and opportunity for all
To tell us about a youth you would like to nominate complete the online form. You can also request a paper nomination form by calling 519-396-3468. The nominations will be open throughout the summer months.
