Showcasing the new Seashore subdivision in Kincardine

KINCARDINE, ON – A ribbon cutting and pre-open house tour were part of the festivities at the new Seashore development just off Bruce Road 23 in Kincardine.

Hosted by the Orsi and Beisel families on Thursday, June 13th, 2024, representatives from the Municipality of Kincardine, Bruce County, and a member of the provincial parliament (MPP) delegate toured through the newly constructed homes. Mariposa Homes and Beisel Contracting shared detailed elements of the newest lakeside community, with phase 1 of the development featuring:

  • 41 lots for single family homes
  • an enhanced stormwater management pond
  • an open space/parkland area with winding trails

“The Municipality of Kincardine is delighted to welcome Mariposa Homes to our growing community, and we thank Beisel Contracting for their continued dedication to building quality homes here,” said Mayor Kenneth Craig. “This large subdivision has been a long time in the making. Our staff and Council are very enthusiastic to see this long-term vision come together so beautifully.”

“Seashore is a unique development and there is really nothing like it along the Lake Huron coastline,” said Angelo Orsi, developer, and president of Mariposa Homes. “We would like to pay tribute to past and current Council as well as staff for getting us to this point. We thank the neighbours and the entire community for their interest in this development. We welcome everyone to this new part of the neighbourhood.”

Seashore is a 70-acre development with over four hundred planned residential units. Future phases include additional lots for single family homes, townhomes, and medium-density buildings.

As part of the ribbon cutting event, the Orsi family shared plans of a future donation to the Kincardine Community Health Care Foundation fundraising campaign. “Hospitals are a vital part of every community and as we build out this new community, we feel it’s important to contribute to important community project like the hospital expansion,” commented Orsi.
