KINCARDINE, ON – Council and staff of the Municipality of Kincardine send their sympathies to the friends and family of Marsha Leggett who has passed away.

Leggett made a significant impact in local municipal government during her lifetime. She first worked as a Clerk and then served as Reeve for the Corporation of the Village of Tiverton in the 1970s. She went on to serve as a Councillor for the Municipality of Kincardine from 2006 to 2010.

Flags in the Municipality of Kincardine are lowered to half-mast in her honour beginning today, Monday, June 3rd through to Wednesday, June 5th, 2024.

“Our community is a better place thanks to the commitment and passion Ms. Leggett gave throughout her lifetime,” commented Mayor Kenneth Craig. “On behalf of Council and our community, I extend our condolences to Marsha’s family and friends during this sad time.”
