Registration opens welcoming everyone to the 2024 Afro Caribbean Youth Awards

KINCARDINE, ON – For the second year in a row, the community will come together on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, to recognize and celebrate Afro Caribbean Youth living in Grey and Bruce counties. The awards ceremony will take place at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, and Philip Saunders will be the special guest speaker.

Saunders is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and creator of the Afrocentric Mural at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine. His work spans Ontario and includes oil paintings, charcoal drawings, murals, and digital illustrations.

Registration for the awards ceremony where Saunders will be the keynote speaker is now open. All are welcome to come and celebrate good fellowship with one another. Online registration is available or those interested in attending can call 519-389-1857 by October 20th, 2024.
