Celebrating Welcoming Week 2023 in Grey and Bruce

KINCARDINE, ON – Communities around the globe celebrate Welcoming Week to encourage connection and support relationships with newcomers to their communities.  

• Are you a newcomer to Canada, to Grey, Bruce, or Kincardine? 
• Do you want to find out about services available to you in this community? 

The Municipality of Kincardine is partnering with Grey-Bruce Immigration Partnership, YMCA Settlement Services, Families Helping Families, Welcoming Communities, and the Swajan Samanvay Santan Centre to host an open house during Welcoming Week for newcomers to Canada, to Grey or Bruce Counties, or the Municipality of Kincardine. The open house is being held on:

Tuesday September 12, 2023
4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Welcome Centre
707 Queen Street, Kincardine

Registration is not a requirement, and all ages are welcome! 

Drop in at any time between 4:00 and 7:00 PM and enjoy some light refreshments, connect with others, and learn about services in your community. 

As we say here in Kincardine: “Céad míle fáilte” (a hundred thousand welcomes.) Whoever you are, wherever you come from, you are welcome in our community!
