Noise and Water Service Interruption - May 22, 2024 - Mount Forest Avenue

On Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024, crews will be working on Mount Forest Avenue from 7 to 11 p.m. approximately. Residents in this area should anticipate higher noise levels while this work is completed. 

During this time, there will be a Water Service Interruption only affecting the areas highlighted in blue (see map.)

If the weather does not cooperate, this work will be done on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 instead.

Printed notices have been delivered to affected properties.

It is advisable to turn the main water valve off inside your building prior to the start of construction at 7 p.m. to help prevent any drainage from your service line. It may also be good practice to turn the breaker off for your hot water tank to prevent damage to the elements.

Once your water supply is restored, flush the first cold water tap in your house (typically your outside tap or basement tap) until the water runs cold and clear. Aerator screens on taps may also need to be cleaned.
