Potential Water Service Interruption - May 24, 2024

On Friday, May 24th, 2024,  from approximately 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. there may be the potential of a water service interruption as crews do repair work.  This will affect residents in the Inverness South and Huron Ridge Crescent areas that are indicated on the attached map in blue.

Also during this time traffic will be reduced to one lane on Huron Ridge Crescent.

Notices will be delivered to affected properties.

It is advisable to turn the main water valve off inside your building prior to the start of construction at 7 p.m. to help prevent any drainage from your service line. It may also be good practice to turn the breaker off for your hot water tank to prevent damage to the elements.

Once your water supply is restored, flush the first cold water tap in your house (typically your outside tap or basement tap) until the water runs cold and clear. Aerator screens on taps may also need to be cleaned.
