Road and Facility Closures; Cancellations due to weather - December 12th, 2024 - 9:30 p.m. Update

We remain under a snow squall warning this evening in the Municipality of Kincardine. A significant weather event declared on December 11th remains in place.

Here are your updates looking ahead to tomorrow morning Friday, December 13th, 2024 based upon both the current and forecasted conditions:

⛔ Highway 21 remains closed from Amberley to Port Elgin at the time of posting
⛔ Highway 9 between Kincardine and Walkerton is closed as the time of posting
➡️ The Davidson Centre is delaying opening to 8:30 a.m.
⛔ 6:15 a.m. lane swimming and morning swim team practice in the Davidson Centre pool are cancelled
➡️ We hope to continue with the 9 a.m. pickleball and 9:30 a.m. aquafit programs as scheduled, along with the remainder of the day's programming.
