Road Closures - February 17, 2025- 9 a.m.

As of 9 a.m., Monday, February 17th, 2025, our operations team is closing:

⛔ Saugeen Street between Broadway and Kingsway Street
⛔ Goderich Street between Bruce Avenue and the Pumping Station.

Crews are reporting that roads are filling up as quickly as they can plow them. They are also reporting poor to nil visibility with high winds, heavy drifting. They are advising people to stay off the roads during this storm system to allow their team to concentrate on snow removal.

⛔ In addition, Sideroad 5S between Southline and the Huron-Kincardine West Boundary remains closed.

➡️ for road conditions and other traveler information, visit ontario.ca/511 or call 5-1-1. Never call 9-1-1 for road conditions or closures.
➡️ be patient and give plow operators room to do their work
➡️ turn on your vehicle's lighting system - auto lights don't turn on your rear lights, so you need to actually turn them on to help your vehicle to be seen from behind
➡️ keep your vehicle cleared of snow, especially the headlights and taillights
➡️ keep your speed down - if you see snow, go slow
