Road Closures - February 7, 2025 - 9 a.m.

As of 9 a.m. Friday, February 7th, 2025:

🟢 Concession 7 between Highway 21 and Bruce County Road 23 is now open.

⛔ Sideroad 5S between Southline to the Huron-Kincardine West Boundary in the Municipality of Kincardine remains closed due to heavy drifting and poor conditions.

⛔ The Ontario Provincial Police - West Region are reporting that:
• Highway 21 from Amberley to Southampton is closed
• Highway 9 from Huron Bruce Road to Walkerton is closed

⛔ Bruce County is reporting on their road conditions webpage that the following county roads are closed:
• Bruce Road 19 From Walkerton to Chesley
• Bruce Road 23 From Lorne Beach to Bruce Road 15
• Bruce Road 23 From Bruce Road 15 to Bruce Road 20
• Bruce Road 17 From Burgoyne to Port Elgin

If you choose to travel today, please do so with caution and NEVER drive on a closed road.
➡️ be patient and give plow operators room to do their work
➡️ turn on your vehicle's lighting system - auto lights don't turn on your rear lights, so you need to actually turn them on to help your vehicle to be seen from behind
➡️ keep your vehicle cleared of snow, especially the headlights and taillights
➡️ keep your speed down - if you see snow, go slow
