Notice to Residents

Please be advised that there will be work taking place in the Scott's Point area beginning the week of October 2nd, 2023 and continuing for approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

This work includes:

• Upgrades to the Scott's Point Well
• Work on the tile bed
• Drainage-related work

Printed notices will be delivered to affected properties this week.

We do not anticipate any water service interruptions while work is taking place, however this is possible in the event of an emergency.

If a water service interruption does occur, it is advisable to turn the main water valve off inside your building/home to help prevent any drainage from your service line. It may also be good practice to turn the breaker off for your hot water tank to prevent damage to the elements. 

Once your water supply is restored, flush the first cold water tap in your house (typically your outside tap or basement tap) until the water runs cold and clear. Aerator screens on taps may also need to be cleaned.
