The Labour Day holiday is nearly here. We’ll be celebrating the last long weekend of the summer on Monday, September 4th! As always, the community has lots going on - just check out the Community Happenings Calendar at www.kincardine.ca/Events.

There are municipal services that will be affected by the holiday, so here’s what’s open, what’s closed, and when:

What’s Open on Monday, September 4^th

• Final Market in the Park of the season from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Tiverton & District Sports Centre at 20 McLaren Street
• Splash Pad at the Davidson Centre from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
• Regular curbside waste and recycling collection

What’s Closed on Monday, September 4^th

• Welcome Centre at 707 Queen Street – visit us at Market in the Park!
• Municipal Administration Centre at 1475 Concession 5, Kincardine
• Davidson Centre at 601 Durham Street, Kincardine
• Tiverton & District Sports Centre at 20 McLaren Street, Tiverton
• Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services Administration Office at 127 Mahood-Johnston Drive, Kincardine
• Underwood Satellite Office and Bruce Township Community Centre at 1240 Concession 6, Underwood
• Kincardine Waste Management Centre at 437 Sideroad 15, Armow

If you have an urgent after-hours issue during the holiday weekend, please call 519-396-1511.

In the event of an emergency, please call 9-1-1 for Police, Fire, and Emergency Services. Call 1-226-910-1322 ext. 0 for 24-hour By-Law Enforcement services for the Municipality of Kincardine. South Bruce O.P.P. can be reached at 1-888-310-1122 for non-emergency issues.
