Project Details and Documents

This project is currently in process. It has been reviewed by the Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC) and the design has been updated to include these requested changes:

  • The northerly fence to the parking lot will be removed in lieu of a curb and drop curbs with tactile surface indicators in compliance with the Facility Accessibility Design Standards (FADS).
  • There is a misprint on the drawings that were presented to the AAC showing the slope of the ramp to be 1:15. It has been corrected to 1:20 to comply with FADS.
  • Staff will follow the AAC recommendation to remove the gates to the track so they are not an obstruction to people coming off the ramp to access the track.
