Arts and Culture is alive and well in our community. We have live theatre all year, a seasonal "freeplay" Outdoor Piano, Mixed Media Artists and galleries, outdoor Murals and public art pieces, Museums and more. You can also check out our Heritage walks and Drive tours. We've got events and festivals, and more!

Arts, Culture & Heritage Achievement Awards

You can apply to have Council recognize any person or group that achieves provincial, national or international honours in Arts, Culture and Heritage. There are three categories for these awards:

Arts, Culture & Heritage Achievement Award
Youth Award
Long Term Contribution Arts, Culture or Heritage (Scougall) Award
Long Term Contribution Multi-Culturalism/Diversity Award

The criteria are outlined in the Recognition – Arts, Culture & Heritage Achievements Policy.
