This is one of the most helpful things you can do to be better prepared for an emergency: sign-up for Kincardine Alert.

This is the official emergency notification system the Municipality of Kincardine uses to communicate with the community during emergencies. It's completely free and you can even:

• add your address to receive alerts that are targeted to your geographic area
• select the type of alerts you want including weather, traffic, emergency, and more
• choose how you want to be notified including text message, e-mail, and/or voice message
• sign-in to your account to update your preferences

Personal information is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001 for the purpose of creating a record to be used for sending notifications in case of an incident. CPR and First Aid training teaches you what method to use in different emergencies. The right technique and equipment can make all the difference once you've recognized the emergency.
